Memorial Description

Plaque 18˝ inches high x 22 inches wide with shallow triangular extension at centre top. The main brass panel is divided into three at the top, with the quotation appearing in cartouches in the two outer sections, and the dedication in the middle, the top line of which is arched and outlined with a wavy thin line. In the lower half of the plaque the names are listed in two columns inside an elaborate border using Roman capitals.

1. This plaque was removed from the 1909 Central Primitive Methodist Church at the corner of Battle Hill and Beaumont Street when it was closed for worship on 28th December 1952.
