Memorial Description

Headstone. Low upright slab of three portions, of which the centre panel has a slightly domed top. The central panel bears the dedication, with a small cross incised above. The names are carried in single columns on the two outer panels. All lettering is in Roman capitals.

The sailors, / soldiers and airmen / honoured here / died in the service / of their country / and lie buried in / St. Patrick's Churchyard.

Notes

The older part of the churchyard has been cleared of nearly all the headstones. This memorial is in the newer area of the churchyard.
