Memorial Description

Plaque, rectangular, with slight domed top, 3 feet 2 inches high x 3 feet 9 inches high. The outer frame is 2 inches wide. At the two top corners of the frame are two raised shields each bearing the cross of Saint George. In the bottom corners similar shields bear (left) a camel and (right) a hog, raised in half relief. At centre top is the badge of the Royal Artillery.
The battle honours are carved into a single column on either side of the names. The names are listed in four columns. At the bottom centre is a ribbon bearing the names of “Cyrenaica” and “Tripolitania”. All lettering is carved and blackened using Roman capitals.
