Memorial Description
Roll of Honour with pediment top and flat fluted pillars on each side, approx. 8 feet high x 5 feet wide. The regimental badge of Northumberland Fusiliers with “Quo fas et gloria ducunt” (“Where fate and glory lead”) is carved in high relief in the gable top.
The main panel is divided into four vertical columns. The Battery names are carved into the crosspiece at the top of each panel. The names from each battery are carved in the appropriate panel in a single column on each.
At the base of the fluted side columns is a horse head in half relief, facing towards the centre. The dedication appears in a panel at the foot. All lettering is in Roman capitals.
