Memorial Description

Roll of Honour, 40 inches high x 32inches wide (1.01 m x 812 mm) mounted behind glass in a plain dark wood frame.
The inscription is printed in black ink in Roman lettering, apart from the word "Elsdon" which is printed in archaic print, and the words "Roll of Honour" in which the initials "R" and "H" are in black, and the rest in red, in illuminated manuscript style. The names are printed in two columns. At the bottom is a painted ribbon bearing the words "Lest We Forget" printed in black capitals, and framing a photograph of Elsdon church. There is a narrow painted border round the whole text.
