A flowering tree with metal plaque at its base.
Inscription
We remember V.J. Day 15th August 1945
and the Sacrifice of Comrades
who died as Prisoners of War of the Japanese
1942-1945
and during "Forty Years of Peace".

This tree was planted by Lt. Col. J.M Webb, D.L.
11th August 1985.

Present condition
This garden was demolished when new extensions were added. The garden was recreated elsewhere. See D31.02. The chapel was closed and the site developed with housing.
