Notes

1. It was proposed that the roll would be hung for one month in each of the several Mission Churches in Chester Moor before being finally placed in the Literary Institute.

2. When unveiling the roll, Mr. Lawson used a pair of scissors found in Germany by Mr. George Cronin of Chester Moor, who was a POW there for four years.
