Memorial Description
Two wooden seats outside the library.
Inside the library is a plaque on a wood pattress 22˝ inches high by 19 inches wide, with domed top. There is a narrow border of oak leaves. At the top of the plaque is the Blyth coat of arms in full colour, with the motto “We grow by Industry”. Names are listed in two columns. The border and lettering are in white Roman capitals.

Plaque is of metal on mahogany frame.

Notes
1. The P.O.W. Fund Committee also raised funds to provide long wooden seats outside the Central Library. The seats were unveiled by Mrs. Walton. Only one seat survived in 1994.
