Plaque, 28 ½ inches high x 20 inches wide (723 mm x 608 mm), with a single line border. The lettering is in Roman capitals.

Notes

1. The Younghusbands had a considerable reputation as scouts on the North West Frontier. Scouts had to be conversant in at least three local languages and be able to infiltrate the locals as one of them.
