Commemoration service was conducted circa May 1941, by Mr. Alf Dickinson, a Methodist Local Preacher, at which the vase was handed over.
Memorial Description
Flower vase, of popular design, 90 mm wide at the top, 100 mm at base and 210 mm high. The vase has a splayed top, which descends into an hexagonal bulb, on one facet of which the dedication in engraved in Roman capitals.
