Memorial Description
Double sided seat, one side facing into the cemetery and the other facing over the farmland. A plaque has been fixed on both sides, one starting the dedication, the one on the other side finishing it. Lettering is in sans serif lower case lettering apart from the name and date which are in capitals.
Inscription
On side facing into cemetery:
Stephen Redhead of Helsay Farm Summer 2004
Donated to the people of Amble to reflect on the past
and honour those who gallantly fought and lost their lives
during the two great wars for our freedom. . . . . . . .
On reverse side:
. . . . . . . .and now take a moment to appreciate this glorious
countryside and the freedom which was delivered to us
by so many at such great cost.
