Memorial Description
Memorial of slightly tapering rough stone surmounted by a cross. The memorial is 90 inches high, standing on a base of 40 inches diameter
The cross is 30 inches across. At the centre of the cross is a red poppy.
On the front is a smooth plaque 26 inches wide by 44 inches high which bears the dedication incised in lower case lettering.
Below this is a second plaque 32 inches wide by 9 inches high which bears the quotation.
The whole stands in a brick paved area surrounded by a low barrier which allows wreaths to be fixed in place.
