Unveiled 7th July 2017 by Lord Lieutenant Sue Snowdon with town mayor Cllr. Bala Nair.
Memorial Description
Paving stone of official design, with the V.C. depicted at the top with the rank, name, regiment and date below. This is mounted on a raked base. Beside it is a plaque which gives his story and carries a photo etched into the metal.
