Plaque 18 inches x 34 inches. There is a narrow cable border. Lettering is in raised Roman capitals.

Lieutenant 1st Battalion
Northumberland Fusiliers
who died 27th December 1917 of wounds
received in action near Bapaume, aged 41
buried at Grevillers Cemetery, France.
