Designed by a "well-known Newcastle firm of stained glass artists".
Notes
1. The church was built in 1938 to replace a tin chapel which had existed from 1916. It was badly damaged in a storm in 1963.
2. There was a proposal to fill the new east window above the high altar with stained glass, and as the church had no memorial to parishioners who had fallen in the Great War the window would bear a dedication to them.
