To the Glory of God and in loving/memory of Capt. Joseph Thompson Monkhouse/ 6th D.L.I. killed in action April 26th 1915/ also of Alfred Tatam Monkhouse who /died July 22nd 1915

Notes
1. Mr. Alfred T. Monkhouse died as a result of a cycling accident near Stanhope three months after his brother was killed in France.
