Notes
1. In 1922 employees of the CWS Newcastle Branch had contributed £1,010 to the RVI funds.
2. To raise funds for a cot endowment as a war memorial to late employees it was proposed to adopt a scheme to raise 10,000 shillings. £100 was already in “immediate prospect”.
