Memorial Description

Plaque 75 inches high x 34 inches wide (1.95m x 863mm). There is a raised border of acanthus leaves culminating is squares at each corner. There is a wreath at centre top with the dates “1914” and “1919” on each side and a ribbon below. Inside the wreath is a badge, presumably of Liverpool and Martin’s Bank. The names are listed in three columns. Lettering is in raised Roman capitals. Below this is a plain panel bearing the quotation in sans serif capitals.

2. Barclays Bank moved premises in Spring 2014 to the Quayside. The War Memorial has been placed in the entry foyer beside the lifts.
