Plaque of bronze set on shaped oak pattress. On each side is a figure looking towards the centre: Left is a soldier with rifle, on the right is a female bearing a wreath. Both are raised in casting. The centre panel is outlined with raised elongated dots. Lettering is in sans serif capitals throughout.

Notes
1. This was given by the firm to Mr. and Mrs. Brough on the loss of their son Albert. It has passed down through the family to Pat Goodman, great granddaughter to Mr. and Mrs. Brough, and whose grandfather was brother to Albert.
2. Ben Jones is Mrs. Goodman’s son-in-law.
3. Soldiers Died in the Great War states that Cpl. Brough was born in Stockton on Tees and enlisted in Middlesbrough.
