"In memoriam.
Private Robert Young 12/13th Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers, lost his life aged 28, killed in action on 28th September 1918. The dreaded news was delivered to his mother Mrs. Elspeth Young oif 4 Lawson's Buildings, Wellway, with an assurance that he 'had not suffered'."
