Newcastle Chronicle - Saturday 01/12/1939:

Miss Margaret Weldon, daughter of Mrs. J. Weldon, of Melbourne Crescent, Monkseaton, and the late Mr. Weldon, was married on Wednesday at Whitley Presbyterian Church to Mr Frederick Anthony Tinn, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Tinn of Carlton Terrace, Whitley Bay. The Rev. Dr. Egerton Chesney officiated. The bride was given away by Mr. R. W. Carter. Mr. N. Teasdale was best man.

The burial entry for Whitley Bay Cemetery states that he died at sea on 03/11/1940 and was buried 15/07/1941. Removed from: 10 Melbourne Crescent, Monkseaton Buried Section J Grave 3309.
