Jobling, W.B., A/Smn., 1916
In Newcastle-upon-Tyne (St.Andrew’s and Jesmond) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Able Seaman, Tyne 5/182, William Bowden Jobling, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, who died 21/04/1916.

His mother was Hannah, formerly of 24 Margaret Road, Whitley Bay, Northumberland, residing at Kenton Bar, Kenton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

He served with the Benbow Battalion, R.N. Division R.N.V.R.

He died from TB on 21st April 1916 after being discharged (Invalided) on the 30th August 1915.

He is remembered in Whitley Bay on W84.01, W84.02 and in W84.30 page 20
