SEATON BURN

Turnbull, V., L/Stkr., 1941
On Portsmouth Naval Memorial is the name of P/KX 83978 Leading Stoker Victor Turnbull, serving with the Royal Navy, who died 23/05/1941.

HMS Kashmir was bombed and sunk on the 23rd May 1941 by German Stuka dive bombers south of Crete together with HMS Kelly, another K-class destroyer.
