Fairweather, C.T., W/Off.Pilot, 1944
In Belgrade War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 656958 Warrant Officer Charles Thomas Fairweather, serving with the Royal Air Force who died 04/07/1944.

Simon Glancey has submitted the following:

W.Off. Fairweather was killed when Handley Page Halifax II (Special) JP292 FW-W of 148 Squadron was lost on a supply dropping operation to southern Poland. The Halifax was shot down at 23.52 (local time) by a Luftwaffe Dornier Do-217 night fighter flown by Oblt. Johannes Krause of 6./NJG101, and crashed about 20 miles SE of the town of Sombor, in modern day Serbia, with the loss of all seven crew.

Also killed in the same incident was Sgt. R. Jacques
