In Longbenton Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:
In
loving memory of
Mary Ann
beloved wife of John Park
who died January 9th 1929
aged 63 years.
Also of Andrew their eldest son
who was killed in action in France
July 14th 1916 aged 25 years.
Also the above John Park
who died August 25th 1955
aged 71 years.
Andrew Park is remembered at Longbenton on L25.02 and in the Regimental History
