Morpeth Herald 20/10/1916 carries a brief obituary:

Mr John Tubman has received word of the death of his son, Private [sic] John Tubman, N.F., who was killed in action.

John Tubman is remembered at Killingworth on K9.01 at Longbenton on L25.04 and as Sergeant Tubman on L25.02 and as Corporal Tubman at Palmersville on P25.01
