In Orchard Dump Cemetery, Arleux-en-Gohelle is the Commonwealth War Grave of Tyneside Z/613 Able Seaman Thomas William Gormaly, serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, who died 07/05/1917.

Colin Boyd has provided the following:

Thomas was born on 17th June 1890 and was working as a miner living with his wife, Beatrice at 21, Astley Terrace, Seaton Delaval when he enlisted in the Royal Naval Division on 22nd October 1914. He joined the Hood Battalion in France on 26th November 1915 and was killed in action on 7th May 1916.

Thomas William Gormaly is remembered in Holywell on H67.02 where his name is listed as T.W. Gormely.
