John Hopkins has provided the following:
He was my great grandfather and was, I believe, the landlord of the Blyth and Tyne pub in Blyth. He was a TA man and left two daughters and a widow (the daughters are Mary and May).
He is remembered in Blyth on B42.24 and possibly in Cowpen
