In Anzegem Communal Cemetery, Belgium, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 627399 Warrant Officer John Devlin, serving with the Royal Air Force, who died 16/06/1944.

W/O Devlin was killed when Avro Lancaster III JB445 MG-P of 7 Squadron, which was lost on a mission to Lens. The Lancaster crashed near Anzegem, with the loss of six of the seven crew - the pilot, who baled out and evaded capture.
