In Blyth Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 9166 Private Thomas Brison, serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers, who died 13/04/1919.

The headstone reads:

Loving memory of
Pte. Thomas Brison K.O.S.B.
beloved husband of
Kate Brison
of Newsham
who died April 13th 1919
aged 33 years.

He is remembered in Blyth on B42.24, in New Delaval on N51.01 and in the N.E.R. Roll of Honour
