In Blyth Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of:

C.F. Abraham
Second Engineer Officer
S.S. "Phillipp M."
12th February 1947 age 49.

At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We will remember him.
Mizpah.

Mizpah means "The Lord Watch over me" Genesis 31 v 49.

According to the Burntisland website, the SS Phillip M was torpedoed and sunk on 24/2/1944. See link below.
Ancestry has the Merchant Seaman Deaths record card for Abraham. It states he died at his home at 8 Rowley Street, Blyth, and death was ‘accepted as ascribed to a war injury.’ He was born on July 4th 1897 in Guernsey."
