Blyth, J., Pte., 1918
In Delsaux Farm Cemetery, Beugny is the Commonwealth War Grave of G/93349 Private John Blyth, serving with the Royal Fusiliers who died 04/09/1918.

George Robson has submitted this photo of Blyth Butcher's shop in Blyth, taken in 1898.

He says:

"He moved his business from Cowpen Quay in 1890, and was in business until 1900. The lad on the right is John Blyth who was later killed in action five weeks before hostilities ended."

John Blyth is remembered in Blyth on B42.18 B42.21

There are two Blyths on the main memorial – with the initials J.B. and J.W. – is he one of them? B42.24
