In Jonkerbos War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1525184 Sergeant Air Bomber serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 09/11/1942.

Sergeant Hurrell was serving with 150 Squadron. He was a crew member of Wellington III X3310 JN-A which took off from Kirmington on a mission to Hamburg. The aircraft crashed and exploded, killing all the crew.
