On Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial is the name of 19647 Private John Greener Miller, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 11/07/1917.

The Blyth News 11/07/1921 carries the following:

"MILLER - In affectionate remembrance of our dear brother, Pte. John Greener Miller, 10th N.F., presumed killed on July 11th, 1917.
We think of him in silence,
No eye may see us weep,
But ever in our hearts
His memory we will keep.
Ever remembered by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Madge and George Henderson, nephew Robert, and Auntie Annie.
MILLER - In memory of Pte. John Greener Miller, 7 Cowpen Square, killed in France July 11th, 1917. Sadly missed by father, mother, brothers, sisters, Aunt Lizzie, also his cousin, Mary L. Leeman."

He is remembered at Blyth on B42.24 and at Cowpen on C58.01
