Kingsley Wallworth David Hodgson was born in Cambridge on 31 March 1905, the son of William (a minister) and Ada Hodgson and the husband of Hettie Hodgson (nee Dobbie), of North Shields. He was a Bachelor of Arts and on the 1939 Register was employed as a Secondary Schoolmaster, living at 14 Carberry, Alexandra Crescent, Hexham. He died in Newcastle upon Tyne General Hospital.
