McAdam, T.T., Pte., 1918
In the Le Grand Hasard Military Cemetery, Morbecque is the Commonwealth War Grave of 201042 Private Thomas Theodore McAdam, serving with the 1/4th Battalion (Territorial) Northumberland Fusiliers who died 11/04/1918.

He was born on the 23rd October 1885 at Sandoe, Hexham, the son of Alex Macadam of Haugh Lane, Hexham and his wife Eliza, daughter of Thomas Bowman. Thomas was educated at the Hexham Board school and was a painter by profession.

He had enlisted in October 1915 and was wounded at Camel on the 2nd of July 1916.

Thomas was buried north west of Merville.

His surname has been spelt incorrectly as Macadam.
