In Keren War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3714225 Private William Matthews Fleming, serving with the 2nd Battalion, King's Own Royal Regiment (Lancaster), attached 1st Bn. Worcestershire Regiment who died 17/03/1941.

William Matthews Fleming resided at Park Village, and had married Dorothy Fleming, in May 1940. He was a member of the Park Methodist Church and was secretary of the Wesley Guild. He was 24 years of age.
