In Sucrerie British Cemetery, Graincourt-les-Havrincourt is the Commonwealth War Grave of 16453 Private W. Brown, serving with the Royal Irish Regiment who died 27/09/1918.

He is possibly remembered in Choppington on C36.01, C36.02 and C36.05. There were two men called "W. Brown" from Choppington but only one entry for "W. Brown" on these memorials, but nothing to discriminate them.
