Carole Fife has provided the following:

Although named on the family headstone in Netherton Lane Cemetery just as Langlands Stewart, his full name would appear to be Thomas Langlands Stewart, born in 1895. I cannot find a census entry for him, but the other information on the headstone plus that in the Enlistment Book match his CWGC entry. He attended the Whitley Memorial School, and as he is named on the Bedlington Coal company's Roll of Honour we know that he was a miner.

Derek Johnstone has provided the following information:

Thomas Langlands Stewart was born at Bedlington, Northumberland in 1895 to parents Joseph and Mary Stewart. The initial record checked showed his surname name spelt Steward but subsequent research confirms the family name as Stewart. In the 1901 Census his family were living at White House Yard, Bedlington and Thomas was 5 years old at this time. By 1911 he was one of 8 children living at 20, New South Row, Bedlington where he was a pony driver in the coal mine at the age of 15. Thomas was 20 years old when he was killed in action having enlisted when living at the family house and was unmarried.

Morpeth Herald 20/04/1917 carries a brief obituary:
