Colin Boyd has provided the following:
Fenwick was born on 18th May 1891. He was working as a miner living with his father, George at 30, Laburnum Terrace, Ashington when he enlisted in the Royal Naval Division on 12th November 1914.
He joined the Drake Battalion in France on 25th March 1917 and was hospitalised with Influenza on 18th April 1917.
After rejoining the Drake Battalion on 11th June 1917 Fenwick was hospitalised again with a knee injury.
He rejoined the Drake Battalion again on 29th August 1917 and died of wounds on 3rd January 1918.
His name does not appear on any local memorial.
