Thomas was born on December 28th 1884. He was the son of Charles and Annie Sprott of Double Row, Seaton Delaval.
He was working as a miner living at 28, Laburnum Terrace, Ashington when he enlisted in the Royal Naval Division on November 13th 1914.
Thomas joined the 1st Platoon, "D" Company of the Collingwood Battalion on March 4th 1915 and was posted as missing assumed killed in action in Gallipoli on June 4th 1915.
Thomas Robson Sprott is remembered in Seaton Delaval on S7.03, S7.04 and S7.10 and in Ashington on A17.43
