In Sancourt British Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 28/384 Private Henry Skinner, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 03/10/1918.

In St.John's Churchyard, Seaton Hirst is a family headstone which reads:

aged 21 years & 9 months

died 21st April 1949,
aged 83 years.
Also Samuel, son of the
above accidentally killed at
Woodhorn Colliery,
Jany. 19th 1929, aged 29 years.
