In the Gordon Dump Cemetery, Ovillers La Boiselle is the Commonwealth War Grave of 16089 Private Peter S. Hogg, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 07/07/1916.

Margaret Allison reports that his parents lived at 143 Maple Street. His wife Mary Jane (nee Holmes) lived at 30 Newbiggin Road, Ashington. He was 35 years old when he died.

He is remembered in Ashington on A17.01 (A17.27) and A17.43
