ROLL OF HONOUR
GILROY.- Killed in action October 12th, 1917, aged 19 years and 10 months, Private James Gilroy, Grenadier Guards, eldest and beloved son of Charles and Sophia J. Gilroy, 121 Rosaling Street, Hirst, Ashington.
Margaret Allison reports that in 1911 his address was 10 Pont Street, Ashington, and that he was 19 years old when he died.
