In Railway Dugouts Burial Ground (Transport Farm) is the Commonwealth War Grave of 7/2850 Private M. Hall, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 24/12/1915.

Margaret Allison reports that his first name was Matthew, and his address was 69½ Myrtle Street, Ashington.

He is remembered in Ashington on A17.01 (A17.27) and A17.43 and in the Battalion History
