Son of Mr. A. Hagerty, of 76, Station Rd., Ashington, Northumberland.

In Ashington (Holy Sepulchre) Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:

Alan
the beloved husband of
Alice Hagerty
died Sept. 5th? 1925 aged 71 years
Allan son of the above died in France
March 28th 1918 aged 19 years.

He is remembered at Ashington on A17.06 and A17.08
