In Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1777435 Sergeant (Air Gunner) James Dixon Whitelaw, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, who died 05/04/1945.

Sgt Whitelaw was the rear gunner of Avro Lancaster III ND707 AS-E of 166 Squadron, which was lost with all seven crew members on a mission to bomb the Wintershall synthetic oil plant at Lutzkendorf, Germany.
