Nursing Sister. Daughter of William and May M. Davidson, of Adderstone, Belford, Northumberland.

In St. Hilda’s Churchyard, Lucker is a headstone which reads:

In loving
Memory of
William Davidson
Died at Thirstone Garage
21 June 1914 aged 60 years
And his daughter,
Alexandra Fairley
Lost at sea
19 Aug. 1941 aged 25 years
May M. Davidson
Died 11 Dec. 1958
Aged 80 years.

She is remembered in Belford on B16.01 B16.02 and on our List of Ships’ crews.
