On The Thiepval Memorial is the name of C/12669 Corporal James Stawart, serving with the "C" Coy. 21st Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps who died 17/09/1916.

In St. Gregory's churchyard is a family headstone which reads:-

who died at Howtel Mar. 10th 1925
aged 65 years
