Royal Air Force
18th July 1941 age 19.

L.A.C. Weatherburn died when Fairey Battle L5775 on 10 Bombing and Gunnery School, Dumfries, which crashed at Blackshaw Bank, in the Solway Firth. Both he and the pilot, Polish airman Sgt. Henryk Skowron, lost their lives. See the link below.

He is remembered in Berwick on B25.15 and B25.35
